I made the mistake of going back to twitter out of curiosity and have come to the conclusion that most people, regardless of political affiliation, deserve fucking nothing. You deserve only to be put through the awful shit you wish on your fellow countrymen, and even that is too generous because the consequences acknowledge that you exist. I understand why people checkout of American politics. A lot of you suck. Your inability to get others to go out and vote is because you suck. Self-reflection and compassion isn't in the vocabulary, but virtue signaling, manipulation, whining, self victimization, and unearned superiority sure as hell are.

Playing Marvel Rivals brought back the fixation I had. School and home life sucked so instead of talking, I would read the X-Men (and listen to my music). I had comics, action figures, a toki doki sweater with the heroes on it, a shit load of animated and live-action movies, posters, cups, video games, etc. I miss those days. I slowed after the first Deadpool came out and lost interest completely when Stan Lee died. I wanted his autograph. Then burnout hit. I don't even have most of that stuff anymore. Being into this stuff used to be lonely. Now I have fomo. I think I'm gonna add everything I lost to my list of unnecessary stuff to buy this year.

That, and I want an excuse to draw all the characters I loved and currently have a thing for.

My family is entertaining the idea of celebrating my 30th by going to Oktoberfest, so I've decided that I'm not drinking any alcohol until then (mostly because I've been going a little overboard). The only exception is special occasions. I'm 28 and my decision is only on day 5. I've never craved a shot this much in my life.

I'm looking for something that'll work on an Ipad/ Android tablet and isn't a pain in the ass to use. I'm making a thing.

I'll probably be in an alcohol induced sleep before the ball drops so I'm writing this now. Resolutions are:

Art/ writing

•Get more art done, draw environments

•Finish writing the second act of my comic

•Design ALL of the characters in my comic

•Design the back of the jacket I keep putting off

•Do a minimum of 30 mins of drawabox every week

•Participate in Inktober again

•Make front page

Personal

•Lose weight and gain muscle (Typical, I know. But I already started months ago)

•Lock in and learn a second language (Also typical, but I started that months ago, too.)

•Work on plans for the body mods I wanted

•Less internet time, get back into reading

•Buy more records/ cassettes I don't need or have room for

•Buy more books I don't need or have room for

•Make room (Wrong order?)

•Actually be social at social events (I don't want to 😔)

Whether or not this list gets completed is completely on me. Here's hoping for a less disappointing year with more productivity and discipline. Happy New Year nerds!

I never got to see them live. I miss Daft Punk sooo much. I'm never throwing this ticket away.

I'm upset but not upset enough to go back to Insta. I quit Twitter, I deleted Deviantart, all my old Tumblr buddies left after the porn ban. I'm running out of social media sites to post on and my communities are disappearing. Did the internet feel more... lively to anyone when they were younger compared to now? Doesn't it feel like it's getting worse?

With the app gone I have one less distraction, but two of my irl 3rd places no longer exist. The book store is gone, the bar is gone. 2025 ain't lookin too fun. It's gonna be a fucking boring 365.

A friend of mine is trying to make some sales for the coming Christmas so I figured it would help to post his work here.

He makes sick drinking horns with runes carved into them. He's just gotten back on his feet and is looking to start up his business again. If you'd like something handmade, ethically sourced, and personal, I'd recommend getting one.
