•I'm still going to draw environments, I'm locking myself in after Inktober to practice, as well as completing the second half of my comic and designing the characters.

•My jacket design got started, I just can't decide what I want.

•I have a few hours to catch up on with drawabox. That's what I get for overexerting myself at the start of the year. Idiot.

•I'm still gonna make front page. Somehow.

Personal

•I've lost *some* weight, but I need to get off my ass and move.

•My second language is coming along. Dutch word order is torture but I'm still having fun.

•I know where I have to get the body mods I wanted, saving feels impossible atm.

•I'm reading manga. Continuing the Drizzt series and started Murtagh. Will be buying Good Omens (second hand) soon.

•I haven't gotten any records/ cassettes yet. I have made room, though.

•I got more books.

•I simply haven't gone to any social events to meet people at. I made new friends, just not at any concerts. I'm still too nervous to speak 😔

This year has been shit. Still have to push through.

I have one more thing to work on here before I make my character sheet(s) for my ocs. I *might* join art fight. What advice would you give to someone new? Any mistakes or pet peeves I should avoid? What don't you like to see when you participate?

My favorite thing about living here is being told by your doctor that you NEED to get a procedure done and then not being able to afford it so you just sit there like an asshole with no help, hoping that the thing you needed doesn't become serious in the future. I have plyers at home, fuck you. I need to fucking move. All this country does is run your fucking pockets and keep you angry at dumb shit. As if I needed more of a push to learn a new language. I saw a shitposter talking about nsfw being added to takeover Tuesday. I had no idea you could do that because I always have the A rating hidden, so I took it off out of curiosity and wondered into the art portal like a fool.

I made the mistake of going back to twitter out of curiosity and have come to the conclusion that most people, regardless of political affiliation, deserve fucking nothing. You deserve only to be put through the awful shit you wish on your fellow countrymen, and even that is too generous because the consequences acknowledge that you exist. I understand why people checkout of American politics. A lot of you suck. Your inability to get others to go out and vote is because you suck. Self-reflection and compassion isn't in the vocabulary, but virtue signaling, manipulation, whining, self victimization, and unearned superiority sure as hell are.

Playing Marvel Rivals brought back the fixation I had. School and home life sucked so instead of talking, I would read the X-Men (and listen to my music). I had comics, action figures, a toki doki sweater with the heroes on it, a shit load of animated and live-action movies, posters, cups, video games, etc. I miss those days. I slowed after the first Deadpool came out and lost interest completely when Stan Lee died. I wanted his autograph. Then burnout hit. I don't even have most of that stuff anymore. Being into this stuff used to be lonely. Now I have fomo. I think I'm gonna add everything I lost to my list of unnecessary stuff to buy this year.

That, and I want an excuse to draw all the characters I loved and currently have a thing for.

My family is entertaining the idea of celebrating my 30th by going to Oktoberfest, so I've decided that I'm not drinking any alcohol until then (mostly because I've been going a little overboard). The only exception is special occasions. I'm 28 and my decision is only on day 5. I've never craved a shot this much in my life.
