All of my pics since January got nuked off my phone because samsung likes to put out shitty updates no one asked for. Today I learned that my phone isn't the only pos that has to deal with getting a factory reset each time these updates are unleashed onto the public. Everything I thought was backed up is gone. Vacation photos, work material, concert vids, art refs, family and friend pics. All my stuff from last year is fine. This year never happened. Nice.

I am once again begging the universe to stop giving me a shit hand. I'm tired. There's only 2 months left. Ease the fuck up.

That sucks man. I'm very sorry to hear that.

Thanks. I refuse to save anything on this brick ever again

GET A iPHONE!

I'm too broke

You know things have gotten so bad when updates aren't even tested properly, That's so terrible.

And it's crazy because it's a regular thing. The lady at the store had to shut off any coming updates so it doesn't happen again

thing with hard drives is: instead of deleting data, they instead blacklist said data & hide it away. it then eventually get overwritten by new data.

in other words: you may have a chance of recovering some of your data, using a data recovery option like FoneDog.

I'll try that out, thank you. Hopefully it works

That's why I am saving to buy a photo camera. Or a vintage kodak. Google, or any dogwater companies just can't forcefully delete my stuff without my consent.. I wish laws were in our favors to beat them to dust.

Exactly! I'm looking into older tech now because it feels more reliable. I'll just get a cheap, old fashioned camera for my next trip. At least if those pics get destroyed it'll be my own fault.

@AldilusRex I know what you mean. Plus, physical pictures are very good to own too. You can literally place them in your room, fridge and in the living room.
